About Academy Training: Our Academy training is designed to develop players of various abilities and ages simultaneously. Our program was created by Jason Goodson, Director of Coaching, and has been used and refined over the last 20 years with a proven record of success. The curriculum allows for players to develop at their own pace and is more than just teaching technical moves. There is a process and a methodology behind every movement, instruction and the implementation of the skill.
During COVID-19 our Academy Training Program didn’t stopp or even slow down. Through a combination of 80+ original soccer training videos our Academy Coaching Staff has made sure all our players have been able to keep developing their soccer skills while at home!
Weekly live Academy sessions with Coach Jason, Move Of The Day videos with Coach Dustin, and a host of other great content from Coaches Casey, Clydesdale, Brian, Emma, Mike, and Nick! Players North Soccer Club has been able to provide opportunities to maintain fitness, develop technical abilities and improve game knowledge. Our Virtual Training Program is included with Players North Club Membership and available to every player in our club.

Frequently Asked Questions:
My son/daughter plays on a team in Great Basin Youth Soccer League (GBYSL) or Northern Nevada Soccer League (NNSL) and would like to do the training. Can I sign them up?
Yes, provided they are playing on a recreational team and not registered with a club or a pre-competitive team. If you want them stay on that team and train with us, you will want to register for the Group “Training Only” program above. If you are ready to move them to one of our club teams, we can take registrations as soon as the recreational season has finished.
My son/daughter has some friends that might be interested in Academy training. Can we bring them along?
Yes, no problem. We are happy to have guests join us and do a trial session to see if they like it. Bring them along anytime.
I’m a coach of a recreational team. Can I bring my whole team for Academy Training?
Yes. Each player will register individually, but your entire team can do the training program. We encourage coaches to learn the cirriculum so they can assist and participate as well. We also welcome recreation coaches who want to move their teams into the club in between seasons, so we can provide a higher level of support and training for both the players and the coach.
